President 2008-09
Redondo Beach Rotary Club

Having just returned from the Paul Harris Dinner Celebration at Medieval Times in Buena Park, I have to say I am very proud to be the President of the best club in the District.

Our club participated, got involved and donated to this very successful event for the RI Foundation.

I think our own Governor Chuck Anderson should be commended for leading the way, and having the courage and insight to change the format for this event from the ones we used to have in the past.

Everyone had a great time at this venue and I saw a lot of family participation. It was also great to see the kids and Interactors involved. That is what Rotary is all about, spreading the word about Rotary to our youth and young people.

I want to thank the following Rotarians, Governor Chuck Anderson, Colette Paul, Jim Chen, Chris Hutson, and Karen Weigel (along with Jeff), for their very creative costumes, and all the other Rotarians in attendance who wore our team color, yellow. Although we did not win the tournament, we had fun cheering on our yellow knight during the show and harassing all the others. I'm sure the event raised a lot of money and we will continue to raise funds for the Foundation throughout this Rotary year. See everyone on Wednesday, Larry
