With the Club Assembly coming up this week, can you believe I am approaching the hump, the half way point, as President of the Rotary Club of Redondo Beach?

Even though it's been very busy and hectic at times, the first 6 months have been a very rewarding experience, and actually, kind of fun. But like anything else in life, I could not have survived the first 6 months without the support from others, namely my wife, Stacy, my Board and the members of the best club in the District. Everyone has been very supportive and I want to thank each and every one of you for your efforts. The club motivates me to give it my all with a smile on my face.

The next 6 months, let's get out there, roll up our sleeves, and get involved even more. It will bring warmth to your heart, a smile on your face and sometimes, a tear in your eye. And, you can be assured that the recipients of your good deed will feel the same effect from your kindness.

Come celebrate Redondo Beach Rotary and the holiday season this Sunday at the Redondo Beach Rotary Holiday Party at my house from 2-7 PM. There will be food, drinks, entertainment, fun and fellowship in a festive atmosphere. I hope to see everyone there. Thank you and let's continue to "Make Dreams Real", Larry
