I will be on vacation next week. So my wingman, President Elect James Jackman, will be taking over the reigns for me. Here are some important upcoming events.

Paul Harris Dinner Celebration: Tickets are now being sold for this year's Paul Harris Dinner Celebration on Sunday, October 12th at Medieval Times in Buena Park, starting a 2:30 PM Our club has reserved 42 seats. So far, 33 have been sold. That means only 9 are left. Don't be left out! Sign up at this weeks meeting to reserve your tickets before it's too late. Tickets are $60 for adults and $30 for children. Also, don't forget to turn in your raffle tx money to Bill Gard at the meeting. It's due!

1st Presidents' Dinner: Tuesday, Sept. 9th at the Toyota Car Museum, starting at 6 PM. Open to all members. $35/person.

3rd Annual Employee Pancake Breakfast: Thursday, Sept. 18th from 6 - 10:30 AM at the Alta Vista Community Center. Please sign up.

District Picnic: Sunday, Sept. 21st from 10 AM - 4 PM at the Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach. The Cardboard Boat Race will start at 9 AM. Contact Jim Chen to help with the construction of our Cardboard Boat, "The Banzai Express".
