A busy meeting today, besides the usual warm up exercises led by President Nasrin, we welcomed 3 guests: George Schane, Jennifer Goldstein and Steve Goldstein.

President Nasrin presented the Non-Rotarian Business Person of the Year Award to Steve Goldstein, for his service to the community and upholding the principals of Rotary.  He was lured to the meeting by his spouse Jennifer.

Eli Gauna inducted our newest member Susan Johnson, reminding her that Rotary would take as much of her time as she would give.  The entire club welcomed her with the traditional handshake and hug.

David Witkin gave his craft talk, explaining how his love of sports and trading baseball cards in Boston, led to a career in the stock market.  David explained the intricacies of Merger Arbitrage, a wonderfully lucid explanation of a very complex strategy that he uses in his business Beryl Capital Management.

Marc Sabelli also gave his craft talk today.  Marc spoke of his roles in life, Husband, Uncle, Entrepeneur, Actor, Athlete, Model and Dog Lover.

A reminder next week February 10th is an evening meeting at the Crowne Plaza Hotel cocktails at 5:30pm.  We will be recognizing the Casino Night Donors.
