Today’s Speaker: Nancy Introduced Michael Grady, GM of Independent Repair and South Bay Country Band Founder. Mike has been with Independent Repair for over 20 Years, he really enjoys his job, working with cars. He shares a passion in motorcycle racing as well. His story begins with his grandson wanting a guitar and lessons which he fully supported and helped his grandson by purchasing the guitar and group lessons, after sometime his grandson decided he did not want to play the guitar after all. Soon after Mike began taking guitar lessons and discovered his hidden passion for country music which lead to forming a country music band which performs 4 days a week locally here in the South Bay. He & his band members Mark Fitchett and Mark Shark, performed a couple of songs for us and we really enjoyed having him share his story.   Lesson: It’s never too late to discover your passion and set your mind to accomplish your dreams.
