Every presentation should have a STAR moment," said
luncheon speaker Lou Serrano. A magician, among his other
talents, Serrano's STAR moment was a disappearing $100
bill that went up in smoke, only to reappear in an envelope
found in Serrano's inside coat jacket.  Go figure!

Our luncheon speaker was Lou Serrano, an author, professional magician, marketing consultant, and keynote speaker. Over the past 20 years he's helped companies big and small create memorable and successful events nationwide. He's a frequent performer at the word-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, and he is the author of several books and DVDs focusing on marketing and business development.  He titled his presentation "The Magic of Communication."  His message: "Make sure every speech or presentation you give has a STAR moment.  He defined STAR as "something to always remember." He gave an example of a speaker opening his talk from the back of the room rather than from the front at the podium.
