Our club recognized three Redondo Beach reserve officers at lunch today.  Larry Breham (left) has served for six years as a reserve officer. He has volunteered more than 550 hours per year as a second officer in a patrol unit, on the beach riding a quad runner, on various community events and as a member of the Crisis Negotiations Team.

Don Neureither (right) has been a reserve police officer for more than 15 years. He actually began his career in law enforcement in 1957, and in a few days will mark his 60th year in law enforcement. Among his notable achievements, Don was one of the police officers who arrested Charles Manson following the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969.

Royce Branch (left) started his service as a reserve officer on January 15, 1974, over 43 years ago.  Over those years that Royce has volunteered as a reserve officer, it is estimated that he has volunteered over 21,000 hours.  Currently he manages the background process for new employees joining the Redondo Beach Police Department.
