Myanmar Orphanages Water Project

The Galilee orphanage (above) is in Hmawbi Township, about 60 kilometers north of Yangon. It supports itself with its own modest crop-growing area, but augmented by food-producing animals, including a large chicken coop and pigs. Having been in existence for more than several years, several of their children have grown up and continued on to college. The Rotary water system gave this orphanage its first direct, internal access to ample water on demand for all its water needs.
