Tony Tripp is the Chief Development Officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of Los Angeles Harbor, but started his relationship with the Boys & Girls Clubs as a teen when he attended the Wilmington Club.  In 2002, Tony was hired at the San Pedro Boys & Girls Club. There he helped start the Club’s music, digital studio, and nationally recognized Arts Academy programs. In 2016, Tony left San Pedro to establish the Youth Centers of Orange – the first youth-serving organization founded in the City of Orange, CA. In 2019, Tony Tripp returned to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor to become the Chief Development Officer for the organization. The CEO Mike Lansing recruited Tony to help the Club break its over-reliance on grant funding. Tony is very active in Rotary International (serving as president of the Orange North Rotary in 2018, and is a current member of the PVP Rotary) and is a member of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Tony has a passion for fundraising and feels its his the duty to ensure all the children in the region have the resources needed to be successful.

 
Tony Tripp resides in San Pedro, California, with his six children and his wife of 20 years, Emily. In addition to his non-profit experience, Tony is an avid musician and has his own Classical Chamber Ensemble – The Porta Caeli Chamber Players. (They have a concert at the Warner Grand Theater in San Pedro on April 20th - Get your tickets!) He is also very involved in his church, where he is the choir director. Tony loves the outdoors (fishing, hunting, camping) and is passionate about helping young people succeed in this life. “If we can help young people make good choices, they will lead good lives, and we will have a better world.” - Tony Tripp
