Roger Van Remmen ​is the President and CEO of The Richstone Family Center, an
organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse. Roger was born
and raised in the South Bay and graduated from the University of Southern California
(USC). He has been associated with Richstone as a board member since the mid-
1980’s. Twice he has acted as Chairman of Richstone’s Board of Directors. In 2013,
Roger accepted the title of President, CEO. He is responsible for securing revenue from
the private sector as well as government. In addition, he ensures that Richstone
provides all the necessary products to support the needs of the community. As Roger
says “This is the most rewarding decision I have ever made”.
Roger has a rich background in marketing and advertising. He started his career in
advertising at BBDO in Los Angeles. He then spent 12 years at Dailey & Associates
where he rose from Account Executive to Senior Vice President and served as
Chairman of the Operations Committee, responsible for day-to-day management of the
organization. In 1991 Roger partnered with some business professionals in the
executive search firm of Brown, Van Remmen, Kanuit Inc. (BVK). He served as
President until 2013. He has extensive experience with non-profits. Currently he serves
as the Trustee of the Vincent Trust, which supports educational programs on the island
of Maui. Roger and his wife reside in Manhattan Beach.
