Thais Viana is a mother of 4 kids, a Social Justice Advocate, a Lieutenant in The Salvation Army and Corps Commanding Officer of the Redondo Beach Corps. She graduates in 2 weeks with a BA in Management with emphasis in the Non-Profit Sector and begins studying for her Masters in Public Relations in the Spring of 2019.

Thais is passionate about traveling, humanitarian work, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Jesus & coffee. She believes that God loves all of his children and she is here to show that to the world. She was born and raised in Brasil, has lived in Mozambique (south east Africa) and for the past 10 years here in the USA.

She feels honored and humbled to have been elected our Redondo Beach Rotary Peace Chair for 2018-2019 and can’t wait to see all the projects we can do together. “I still believe we can change the world!"
