The following are the most current statistics on the Polio Eradication efforts by Rotary, CDC, WHO, UNICEF and the Bill/Melinda Gates Foundation:
One new case in Afghanistan bringing the total cases of Wild Polio Virus cases of polio to 13 which still less than 50% of the 28 cases as of the same date in 2016. We are marching forward but there is still much to be done and with the dedication of Rotary with boots on the ground – it will be done.
