Thank you from Business Person of The Year 2012

Dear Nancy,

Please accept my humble thank you to you, Bill Gard and the entire club for honoring me as Rotary Cub of Redondo Beach's Business Person of the Year. I truly appreciate this recognition and, as you may have noticed when the award was formally named, am overwhelmed!

As I mentioned to Bill, it was a pleasure to meet you and so many of your members. The organization is widely recognized and influences so many in need, leaving me in awe of your depth and caring.

The fact that my nomination was entered (by Marna Smeltzer, I presume) is honor enough; the incredible result of being selected as the awardee, is a highlight of this year!

Our hotel General Manager, Michael Payton, looks forward to being active again once our renovation is complete. He has been a Rotarian for many years and in many locations, including doing work overseas. At this time, he has Wednesday Noon time conference calls and cannot miss these as they are related to the renovation progress.

Thank you so much, again. I will be encouraged and inspired each time I look at the award!
