Project ECHO provides an invigorating environment for high school students to learn about entrepreneurship through a year-long program that combines business fundamentals, mentoring, college field trips and activity-based learning. 

 

As Project ECHO’s Executive Director, Diane Quast is responsible for the overall management and administration of this emerging non-profit organization. Her focus has been on developing the internal capacity of the organization to allow for future strategic growth. Diane’s long tenure in the non-profit community brings expertise in fund raising, board & volunteer management, strategic planning and working with program staff to develop impactful programs. She has over 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience supporting local Los Angeles youth and education initiatives. 

 

Diane previously worked for Options – A Child Care and Human Services Agency , the L.A. County Sheriff’s Youth Foundation, Child and Family Guidance Clinic, CSU Dominguez Hills and the Los Angeles chapter of the American Red Cross. Diane earned her Master’s Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management from California State University and her B.A. in Journalism from the American University in Washington, D.C. She became an entrepreneur in 2005 when she started a publishing company to self-publish her books which currently sell on her website along with popular book stores. Diane joined ECHO in 2013.
