Rotary is built upon a fellowship and friendship which depends upon attending meetings. Rotarians are expected to attend meetings, and participate in club functions and activities.

It is understood that among busy people a problem may arise.  If a member misses a meeting he/she should "make up" the meeting at another Rotary Club. No problem.  There are more than 29,000 Rotary clubs worldwide in more than 160 countries.  So virtually anywhere a Rotarian goes in the world, there is likely to be a local Rotary Club.

In our area there are many clubs to attend every day of the week: El Segundo, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Lawndale, Lomita-Torrance Airport, two in Palos Verdes, Torrance, and of course our own club in Redondo Beach.  Each make up affords the Rotarian an opportunity to broaden their horizon, and bring back to the club information and ideas that can improve the club's operations and programs.
